A 12-5 Loss

The Sluggers suffered a 12-5 loss in their season opener last night.

It wasn't all tears last night though.
With out the help of their coach and star second base(wo)man, the Sluggers managed to hold on to their pride with some amazing happenings.
Among many great plays, a three up, three down inning in the second ending in a double play, and a two RBI double from JJ in third the Sluggers held the Wildcats to only 12 points.

Next game is not for three weeks as the Sluggers rest for labor day and then their bye week.
